The Festival of Journalism 2022 is a series of free events across the UK offering training, insight and connection for journalists at every stage of their careers.
Beginning 18th October in Bristol, the festival will then tour Birmingham, Cardiff, Newcastle, Glasgow and Manchester. Each event includes three days of workshops, panel discussions, practical advice and training. The festival is produced by PA Media Journalism Training, sister company to PA Media, the UK and Ireland’s national news agency, in association with the Google News Initiative.
The festival is free, and will feature speakers, trainers and panellists offering unmissable insight, tools, skills and development for journalists at all levels. You can register for all three days, or attend the days or sessions that particularly interest you. Just be sure to register in advance.
The programme runs from 12pm to 6pm each day, and will be followed by a social event so you can connect with speakers and your fellow journalists. All venues are fully accessible.
